Souvenir collection is newest collection in museum holdings. It was gathered during the period 1999-2000 for egzibition 'From medals to identity symbols'. Collection consists of 402 artefacts and it is still growing. It gathers artefacts made by village handycraftmen, unique hand made artefacts and industrial artefacts. Number of artefacts can be used for educational purpose because its shape, material and use reflect genuine artefacts. Collection also includes valuable collection of works of peasant artist Antun Božac. Through his work, he describes part of traditional life, which he dearly remembers. Here you can find statues of miners form Labin, ploughmen, female weavers, wine-celler interiors, household animals and many others.
Istrian souvenirs, in some part, reflect simbolism of modern identity and often are bought by Istrian people, not only tourists.
