Coming Out Museum Encounters
The Coming Out Museum (COME) continues its pop-up exhibition tour in Pazin at the Ethnographic Museum of Istria – Museo etnografico dell'Istria, the place where the idea for the project originated. The Coming Out Museum presents personal stories and objects as triggers for memories of significant coming out experiences of LGBTIQ+ people.
We invite the public to actively participate – to learn about the lives of LGBTIQ+ people, share their own stories, and collectively contribute to building an inclusive and accepting society. The exhibition will be open to visitors from October 23 to November 20, 2025.
The Coming Out Museum – Encounters exhibition series is realized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia and the City of Pula-Pola.The exhibition at EMI-MEI is also realized with the support of the Central Istria Tourist Board.
